Welcome to StrangeTrip Guitar. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Services

StrangeTrip Guitar provides guitar instruction services including:

• In-person guitar lessons in the North Lake Tahoe area
• Online guitar lessons via video conferencing
• Access to member-only content and resources
• Educational videos and materials

2. Lesson Booking and Cancellation

Scheduling: Lessons are scheduled by mutual agreement between the student and instructor. Lesson times should be confirmed at least 24 hours in advance.

Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours notice for lesson cancellations. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged in full. Exceptions may be made for emergencies at our discretion.

No-Shows: If a student fails to appear for a scheduled lesson without prior notice, the lesson will be considered completed and payment will be due in full.

3. Payment Terms

Payment for lessons is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept various payment methods which will be communicated during booking.

Lesson packages or memberships, if offered, are subject to their own specific terms which will be provided at the time of purchase.

4. Student Responsibilities

As a student, you agree to:

• Arrive on time for scheduled lessons
• Have your instrument ready and in working condition
• Practice between lessons as recommended
• Communicate openly about your goals and any challenges
• Treat the instructor and any facilities with respect

5. Online Lessons

For online lessons, students are responsible for:

• Having a stable internet connection
• Using appropriate video conferencing software as directed
• Ensuring adequate audio and video quality
• Having a quiet, suitable space for the lesson

Technical difficulties on the student's end that prevent a lesson from occurring may still result in the lesson being charged.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including videos, images, text, and educational materials, is the property of StrangeTrip Guitar and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

Recording of lessons is only permitted with prior consent from the instructor.

7. Liability

StrangeTrip Guitar provides instruction to the best of our abilities, but we cannot guarantee specific results. Musical progress depends on many factors including practice, dedication, and individual aptitude.

We are not liable for any injuries that may occur during lessons. Students participate at their own risk and should inform the instructor of any physical limitations that may affect their playing.

8. Minors

Students under 18 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to take lessons. A parent or guardian must agree to these terms on behalf of the minor student.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the lesson arrangement at any time. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including but not limited to inappropriate behavior or failure to pay for services.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
